handheld controllers supplied by you. It enables
you to fly virtual RC airplanes, sailplanes, and

models.

Note: FMS is not compatible with Macintosh

FMS
is compatible with hundreds of other models you can
find on the Internet for download. Draganflyer
XPro, Vti, Vortex, and Vortex extreme models may be
added to your FMS aircraft liberary.

Troubleshooting
Your FMS Setup
What
do you do when you have everything connected and
you can't get the model to fly properly?

If you are using Windows install the file
d3drm.dll > See
instructions.
Ensure transmitter batteries are
fresh/fully charged.
Ensure cable is plugged in firmly
to the transmitter's trainer port.
Ensure the USB end of the cable is
firmly connected to your PC.
Ensure that the transmitter is
turned on.

Calibrating
Your Transmitter with your PC and the FMS
software

Turn on your computer (Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP
and Vista)

Turn on your transmitter and plug in the USB cable
to computer

Click the Start button on your Windows
taskbar

Goto Control Panel

You may need to click the button for Classic
View

Now click on Game
Controllers

Your RC controller should show up in the list,
possibly named PPM

If there is nothing displayed then there may be a
problem with the transmitter, USB cable, or
computer

If there is more that one controller and you are
unsure which one it is, double-click on each one
and while in test mode check if there is any
on-screen response to stick
movement

Once you find the correct one, select Properties
-> Settings ->
Calibrate

Follow the
instructions

When it is finished click OK and close the game
controller and control panel
windows.

Run the FMS simulator
software

Select Controls -> Analog Control -> Joystick
Interface -> Mapping/Calibration ->
Calibrate

Follow the
instructions

Click Finish, then click OK to exit the Calibration
window, and then the Mapping
window.

You should now be able to control the simulator
with your RC transmitter connected via USB FMS
calble.
