This Riva Aquarama remote control model boat is made from heartwood honduras mahogany, one of the highest quality mahoganies available and typically used for real boats such as the full scale Riva models. This speedboat model is highly polished, with smooth finish including many layers of paint and varnish applied. Each layer is left to dry and micro sanded before another layer is applied. Each model is made with plush leather seats and features hand stitched detailing. The dashboard of this Riva replica has scale-realistic gauges and switches - not stickers. Meticulously painted, extensive research was done using various sources such as drawings, copies of original plans and photos of the full scale model to create this 1:9 scale replica. The model is made with plank on frame construction where each strip of wood is applied to the hull one at a time and is waterproofed and floats. Water will not get inside the model. The installed RC kit includes two motors, rudders, propellers, servo, antenna, ESC, battery, and charger. Battery Life is 3 hours. Also includes high quality 2.4Ghz radio. The Riva Aquarama RC Kit is capable of speed up to 25 mph.
