The Traxster Robot Kit was designed to be
used as an indoor educational robotics
kit. This readymade platform allows more
time for enthusiasts to develop
intelligent software (such as vision
recognition or localization and
mapping).
Easy
Robot Control using RoboRealm, .NET, or
Robotics
Studio:
The
Serializer WL Robot Controller provides a
ready-to-use solution to interface the
Microsoft .NET framework or
Microsoft Robotics Studio to common
robotic hardware.
Never before has it been this easy to
interface DC motors, servos, analog
sensors, single and quadrature encoders,
switches/relays, and other devices to the
.NET framework and/or Robotics Studio.
The all new Serializer WL has been
designed to allow customers the use of
five different serial interfaces (four are
interchangeable). The pluggable interface
modules include RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, or
XBee/XBee Pro. The TTL serial port is
built into the base Serializer board and
BlueTooth interface included in our all
inclusive kits.
Aluminum & Stainless
Steel!
The
Traxster features a very rugged anodized
aluminum chassis, driven by two DC gear
head motors, running on a set of ABS
injection molded tracks. All hardware is
either aluminum or stainless steel.
The Traxster can easily maneuver through
carpet and other types of flooring, as
well as traverse over small obstacles. The
Traxster's skid-steer drive tracks enables
it to spin about it's
center.
Our
all inclusive Traxster Kit is an excellent
robotics kit for both novice and advance
users. You start with all the essential
modules you need to learn and extend your
capabilities. All you have to do is to
download Free resources including .NET
framwork, Microsoft Robotic Studio, or
RoboRealm's Vision app with RoboRealm's
Traxster module, or any other applicable
solution you prefer - and you are set to
GO!
FREE
VISION & Traxster Control
Module!
The
guys at RoboRealm
have a really cool vision and drive
module, that will allow joystick control
of Traxster drive system and I/O
maniulation (no programming required) for
FREE! They have developed a module
specifically for controlling the
Traxster/Serializer
via USB joystick/game controller. Be sure
to check this
out!
Cell
phone, PDA, PC
Control!
The
Serializer WL can be controlled by any
device featuring a complimentary serial
device on the other end (e.g.
RS232-to-RS232, USB-to-USB,
Bluetooth-to-Bluetooth, XBee-to-XBee).
This could be a Personal Computer, a PDA,
a Cell Phone, a PC104 board, a Single
Board Computer, or a
microcontroller.
